The warm and concentrated growing season produced small berries of outstanding quality, vinified parcel by parcel before ageing in French oak barrels, part new. In the glass, the wine reveals a deep ruby-purple colour and aromas of cassis, blackberry, and plum, lifted by violet and peony. Secondary and tertiary layers of cedar, graphite, tobacco leaf, cocoa, and spice bring nuance and complexity.
